What's Life Curated By Imani?

I started Life Curated By Imani (LCBI) on Instagram back in 2021 hoping to put myself "out there" and share what motherhood looked like as a former NICU mom and the various stages I was going through at the time. I thought I was ready to share that story, but turns out I wasn't.

Fast forward to January 2025, three boys and a homeschool co-op later, I decided it was time to bring LCBI back and start sharing what it's like for me to work full time and run a homeschool co-op in my basement because my kids needed it and so did my community.

What You'll Find Here

Community --

You'll read all about my community, how important community is to me, how it's positively impacted my motherhood journey and also how being active in my community has impacted my child.

If you're here, you're a part of my community now so welcome and let's inspire each other!

Tips & Tricks --

I am no expert by any means, but I do what to share what's working for me, what hasn't worked and what I plan to try with my own homeschoolers throughout this journey and I'd love to hear some tips and tricks from you as well!

Transparency --

I'll share more about how I made the decision to start homeschooling despite my husband and I having very demanding jobs but I also want to share about the cost of homeschooling, my plans for childcare since daycare is no longer an option for my family and how much it costs for me to run a homeschool co-op.

Balance --

In all transparency, this area is still a work in progress for me but I thought it would be important to include because it'll both hold me accountable and hopefully inspire you to make time for your own outside interests as well.

Thank you so much for joining me in this season in my life. I am so excited to build a community here where I can learn, support and be supported by others!

With grace an grit,

Imani, LCBI
